Music on Earth Announced as the Winners of the CLASSIC FM GRAMOPHONE DVD OF THE YEAR AWARD 2007

For JULIAN BREAM - My Life in Music

In 2003 international-award-winning director Paul Balmer - produced a DVD entitled 'Julian Bream - My Life in Music'. Currently distributed by AVIE Records this exceptional DVD has been awarded The Classic FM Gramophone Award as DVD of the Year - one of the world's most influential classical music prizes. The awards were announced on Wednesday 3 October 2007 at a star-studded ceremony in London's Dorchester Hotel.

The award was proudly received by Mr. Bream, seen here with producer Judy Caine. 

Judy said "Music on Earth is rightly proud of this achievement - Julian is a musical genius and one of the 20th Century's greatest guitarists." 

Paul, also a guitarist himself, said "I am delighted this DVD has been recognised and hope that those who watch it gain some idea of the man and his music. He is a remarkable musician."
