Can I e-mail my credit card details ?
Details sent via Netbanx (our on-line secure banking service) can be guaranteed secure. If you have any problems with the Netbanx system please contact sales@musiconearth.co.uk 

Is faxing my credit card details safe ?
One person only in a private office accesses the fax to which credit card details are sent. 

Will the DVD play in America ?
All Music on Earth DVD's are region free and produced in both PAL and NTSC versions. NTSC is the American television system so there will be no problems.

What does 'Region Free' mean ?
All DVD's can be 'coded' into geographical regions - of which there are 8. This can result in DVD's for region 1 (i.e. the USA) not playing in UK players and DVD's for region 2 (i.e. the UK) not playing in USA players. This can be very frustrating. To avoid this Music on Earth make only 'region free' (or Region '0') encoded DVD's which we hope will be enjoyed world-wide.

What is NTSC and PAL ?
These are two of the television systems adopted throughout the world. There is also a third system 'SECAM'. Music on Earth at present produce region free DVD's in both PAL and NTSC. This means they will play on any computer in the world, in any DVD player in the world and can be seen on all PAL and NTSC set up television. What if I'm in a SECAM area ?
I'm sorry but at present we are not able to produce SECAM disks. Most modern televisions play any format - if in doubt consult your dealer. We may look at SECAM in the future if the demand is high enough - please tell us what you want. Thank you.

What is on the VHS 'Stephane Grappelli - A Life in the Jazz Century' ?
The VHS contains the 128 minute profile on disk one of the DVD. It does not contains the bonus materials on disk 2 of the DVD set. This product is designed as a DVD and the interactivity that affords does not translate to a VHS.

Is all the Django Reinhardt footage on the DVD on the VHS ?
No. To own all the Django material you will need to purchase the DVD. Disk 2 contains the complete unedited 7 minutes of 'Jazz Hot' - including J'attendrai; the train sequence and a 4 page letter from Django to Stephane written on the 1946 US tour with Duke Ellington.

How long does it take to process my order ?
We aim to despatch all orders within 48 hours of hearing from you. In the UK they are sent by first class mail and for the EU and all other countries they are sent via the 'Royal Mail Small Packet' service. This is the most economical way to ensure you goods reach you in good condition. All goods are posted in specially manufactured boxes designed to protect in transit.

What is the cost in my currency ?
Due to the ever changing world currency rates we quote all our prices is GBP (Sterling). Your local bank will be able to tell you the conversion rate on the day you place your order.
